Finally we decided to get the girls dedicated to the lord! I wouldn’t necessarily consider ourselves very religious. I would say we are more spiritual than religious. We aren’t the type of family that goes to church every Sunday, not that anything is wrong with that, we just aren’t that family that do that. Of course, we teach our girls about god and what he has done for us, but ultimately it will be up to them with what they want to believe in. We all have different beliefs + we strong believe in exploring whatever you want + what feels right to you. My biggest thing I teach my girls as they are growing, is that they can be anything they want. They really can.
So, a little bit about this day, we are long time family friends with Christopher hopper, Which you should check out his work. He does dedications and baptisms all the time. My grandparents are the church goers so we eventually meat him through them. He’s one of the pastors in our area + he is just full of life and inspiring shit. You could talk with this man for 5 minutes and you would feel like you can conquer all your dreams + the world. He is just a believer in anyone and makes you want to succeed in life at everything + more!
Moving forward after finding the right person to bless + dedicate our babies, we had to find the perfect location. The location that we picked was the same place my husband purposed to me at. So, this place seems to special to us! We invited some of the most important people there with us that we picked to be the god parents of each of our children. We couldn’t have been happier with the ceremony and the people that came + joined us to see it and dedicate them as well.
Anyways here some more photos of how this beautiful day went!
